I've just made a little CGI script that allows people on the Internet to choose what I listen to. It's a web interface to xmms, and it's quite possibly one of the most useless things I've done.
But hey, I like it. :) So, go to http://ciaran.no-ip.com/~ciaran/mp3play.cgi and choose for yourself what my playlist contains. :) Note that it'll only work when xmms is actually running, which means that if I don't want to listen to music at the time (or if I'm asleep), xmms won't pop up and surprise me. :) If xmms is running but has stopped playback, adding a song to the playlist will restart it for you.
Have fun. And please don't request the same song millions of times in a row. I'll delete any extra entries from the playlist. :)
