Hi all,

I found out today that about a week ago, Linode, my hosting provider, gave
all their customers free disk space -
http://www.linode.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2553. In my case, this is
over 2GB more - to be precise, 2304MB, or 2.25GB (I have a Linode 150, for
which I pay annually). However, to be able to make use of it, I will need
to reboot matrix and assign the space.

I'm going to dump 1.5GB of this into /home.  I'll be leaving the other
768MB as 'reserved' for the moment, as 1.5GB should be enough to keep us
going for a while. I'll be doing this on Sunday 7th January from 3:00pm to
3:30pm GMT - that's 10:00am to 10:30am EST and 7:00am to 7:30pm PST. I may
very well be able to bring it up sooner than that but I want to give
myself some leeway.

(I'm so glad I have this list now. Makes announcements like this one much
easier.)
